Solid Foundations is our Homeschool Co-op for ages birth to 8th grade.  Meeting dates and times are from the 2nd Tuesday in Sept to the 1st week of June. We meet every Tuesday from 9-11 am and usually follow the Hudson City School District calendar for breaks and snow days and/or hr delays. If there is an hour or 2 hour delay, we meet from 10-12 pm.  Below you will find a sample schedule our our program for both our Playgroup and for the Co-op.  

Meet our Leader
Jeana Hoyt

Jeana Hoyt oversees our Solid Foundation program and works with our adult leaders to produce quality programs and education for children.  The group's Foundation is in Jesus Christ, with a focus of building a relationship with Him and with each other as we learn.  Jeana is a faithful woman of the Word and a mom of three beautiful children.  Her love for children and for equipping them in the Word is evident through her dedication and service to this Ministry.

Playgroup
Birth to 5 years old
Example Schedule:
8:55am- Sign In, Prayer, Pledge of Allegiance, Announcements with Home School Co-op in Cafe
9:00am-9:25am - Circle Time-Music
9:30am-10:00am-  Story/Craft time (3,4& 5 year olds in Junior Kids Room) / Snack time (birth-2 year olds in Little Kids Room) (parents bring a snack) We supply animal crackers if you forget / Supervision in Nursery in case some get done early
10:00am-10:30am-  Snack time (3, 4 & 5 year olds in Little Kids Room) (parents bring a snack) We supply animal crackers if you forget / Story/Craft time (1 & 2 year olds in Junior Kids Room-those who are able) /Supervision in Nursery Area-in case some get done early
10:30am-10:50am-  Free Play (All in Nursery)
10:50am-  Clean up time (All)
11:00am-11:30am-  Stay for lunch if you would like in Cafe (bring your own)
Homeschool Co-op
Kindergarten to 8th Grade
We focus on providing Art, Music, Gym, and scheduling field trips throughout the year. We sometimes add other classes like Health, Cooking, Computer Classes. We usually meet in August to decide on the needs of the group. From that meeting, we base our schedule according to parent input and divide classes according to numbers that we are working with.  There is a $25 fee per family to buy supplies for this group.

9:00am-9:40am- Class 1 (40 minutes)
9:40am-10:20am-  Class 2 (40 minutes)
10:20am-11:00am-  Class 3 (40 minutes)
11-00am-11:30am-  Lunch for those who would like to stay- please bring your own (30 minutes)
